Adding the YotaVerse Replica TRD Pro Grille to your 4G Tacoma is a solid aesthetic upgrade, giving the front end a much more aggressive look. In my opinion, improving the overall appearance of your front end. The optional Raptor lights and light bar also add utility compared to my old stock TRD Sport grille.
This straightforward modification doesn’t require drilling and uses the factory mounting points. Additionally, opting for an aftermarket grille over the OEM grille results in significant savings, usually being half the cost or more.

Product Overview
This kit is plug-and-play, requiring no new hardware, or adjustments to get it working. The grille fits absolutely perfectly and does not rattle around at all. It also uses high-quality plastics that don’t feel like they’ll crack when the tiniest bits of road debris hit. With it being a “replica”, I was worried about the quality and if it would feel cheap, but this grille feels just like the OEM one.
I do not have a front camera that fits into the grille, so I am unsure how well it would fit. However, it does have a spot where a camera can be installed. From what I’ve seen with feedback online, there aren’t any issues, but my truck didn’t come with one. If you add Raptor lights, there’s a bump in price.
In my opinion, the cost is very good for the quality. YotaVerse ships everything very quickly, whereas if you went with Toyota, it would take much longer, and the price is way higher.
Installation Overview
It took me approximately 3-4 hours to complete this task for the first time, as it requires removing the entire front end. It is very straightforward, but it requires a lot of tedious work, especially when replacing the grille. It was nerve-racking taking the entire front end off the first time, but it’s actually very simple when you break it down. There are plenty of videos online if you need a guide.
The wiring is extremely easy and very self-explanatory. I added the light bar to a switch inside the cab and the raptor lights to a fuse, so they turn on every time the truck is running.

Final Thoughts
The YotaVerse Replica TRD Pro-style grille with Raptor lights and a light bar is a solid mod. It is attention‑grabbing yet functional if done right. To me, it elevates the vehicle from “just a Tacoma” to something that looks a lot more premium. Mods like this also feel especially good when you do it all yourself. It is a perfect first mod to do to your truck if you are starting and want to change the entire look of your front end!
