LOCK Off-Road offers a pretty stout selection of wheels for Tacoma owners. Their designs range from aggressive to minimal and everything in between. On our 2nd Gen Tacoma, we went with the Commando in a Matte Black finish and a simulated beadlock ring, which gives the truck a clean, rugged stance without being over the top.

Wheel Design
The Commando features a broad spoke-to-hub layout that gives the wheel a strong visual profile while supporting durability for off-road use. The simulated beadlock ring adds the look of a trail focused wheel while keeping the setup simple for daily driving and weekend wheeling.
Matte Black Finish
The Matte Black finish works well on our white on black 2G Tacoma because it keeps the wheel subtle, aggressive, and easy to pair with almost every other mod on the truck: armor, KC lights, and other exterior black accents.
Black Center Cap
The matching black center cap keeps the wheel face super clean and consistent. It blends into the Matte Black finish instead of standing out, which gives the wheel a more complete look once mounted on the truck. I feel like Lock Off-Road should have color-matched caps for all their wheels, though, but I believe they only have black.
Lock, if you’re reading this, it’s something to consider.
Vented Lip
One of the coolest design details is the vented outer lip. It gives the wheel a more technical appearance while helping reduce unnecessary weight without taking away from the overall strength of the wheel.
Available Sizes & Specs
The Commando Wheel is available in 17″ and 20″ sizing, with 17×9 options being the most common spec for Tacoma builds. The 17×9 6×139.7 is offered in +0mm and -12mm offset (pictured on this Tacoma) options, a 2500 lb. load rating, and an approximate wheel weight of 30 lbs.

LOCK offers the Commando in Matte Black, Matte Black with Gloss Black Lip (not shown above, reference their site), Matte Grey, Matte Bronze, and Machined finishes.
