Once you start hitting the trails, one of the first things you learn is that airing down is a must. It is by far one of the most effective things you can do to improve ride comfort and increase off-road performance.
Throughout the years, companies have made products to make this daunting task a bit easier. From portable compressors, rapid deflation tire valves, and multi-tire hose kits. Airing up and down at the trail head has become easier and easier, but as you know, the consumer always wants MORR! Pun intended.
If you’re anything like me, you know you were tired of constantly having to check the tire pressure gauge while deflating/inflating. Sitting in your vehicle, wishing there was some way you could just set it and forget it and tend to other tasks while you waited. Well, the wait is finally over because MORRFlate is here to change how you inflate/deflate your tires with their Air Hub unit!

Who Is MORRFlate?
MORRflate is based out of Sacramento, CA, and was started by Tyler Laursen in 2016. Since then, his company has constantly innovated products designed to make the off-road experience easier and more convenient. It all started with a multi-tire hose system that enabled you to air down and back up all four tires simultaneously.
In recent years, they’ve developed products to establish a complete ecosystem, adding their own branded air compressors, air chuck valves, and manifolds such as the Air Hub featured in this review. Everything has been designed to handle off-road abuse and oversized tires (33″+) with ease.

Easy to Use
The Air Hub works as advertised, super intuitive and easy to use. To deflate your tires, simply turn it on, set your desired PSI, and open up the slide valve. To inflate your tires, turn on your compressor, turn on the unit, set your desired PSI, open up the slide valve, and let it do its thing.
Occasionally, you will hear the Air Hub stop inflating/deflating. During these short intervals, it is checking to see if the desired PSI has been reached. Once the desired PSI has been reached, the Air Hub will not allow any more air to come through/be released and will start to flash and beep, indicating that it is done.
Battery Life
I was able to use the Air Hub on three separate trips before it was down to its last battery life bar. I could have probably gotten one more trip out of it before having to recharge the battery, but I didn’t want to risk having it die on me while using it. This is definitely sufficient for your average weekend warrior, but might be a concern for someone who is constantly airing up and down or someone on a longer trip. In general, many of use carry power stations or 12V adapters, you just need a USB-C cable and somewhere to plug it in.
Compatibility
The Air Hub was a direct replacement for my old 2-way manifold and connected right up to my ARB compressor. Luckily, I was already using quick-connect fittings, so everything was simply plug and play, but MORRFlate does offer a retrofit kit if you have one of their kits that doesn’t have quick-connect fittings.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I am extremely happy that MORRFlate has finally brought an automatic air control system to the market. Ever since I got into off-roading and added onboard air to my truck, I have wanted something like this. I always hated having to constantly return to my truck to check on my tire pressure, especially when I was trying to get other things done at the same time.
These past few trips, in which I was able to use the Air Hub, my setup finally felt complete. I was able to set up my hoses, turn on my compressor, and walk away worry-free. The Air Hub did its thing and alerted me when it was time to wrap things up.
This product is a 10/10 and I would recommend this to anyone simply for the fact that it didn’t just feel like I was buying convenience, but I was buying back time to do more important things.
